I am sorry that it has been a while since I last posted. We have been extremely busy lately with this and that. I thought I would just fill everyone in on the latest with the kids...and a couple cute stories too!
Birkley...
smiles and laughs all of the time...especially at Treigh.
rolled over...from her belly to her back.
wearing 3-6...mosting 6 month clothing.
drinking 8 oz bottles.
in a size 2 diaper
is very passive...only cries if she is hungry.
Treigh... (and I feel bad bc he has been doing these things for wuite some time but have forgot to "baby book" them)
knows his:
full name, and his "Treigh name," age, where he lives (Rockbille, Iniana), where Old Ma and Pa live (Bainvridge), birthday (March 28-9...we joke because we guess he is counting in the fact that his due date was the 28th...lol!), Birkley's full name, his ABC's, can count to "firteen," and lots of rhymes and songs.
Funny...
The other morning I looked over at Birkley just as Treigh was pulling his hand away from her face...which had powdered sugar from a donut all over it. I calmly told Treigh that we don't give Birkley donuts, just "her" milk in her bottle. He looked up at me with an "are you stupid" look and said, "Why mommy, Birkey Baby yikes dronuts."
I classify this next little ditty Rich's fault. Ok, this might be gross, but Rich has always been obsessed with picking at the kids' noses. Treigh absolutely hates it, and Birkley has started to fuss as well too. The other evening I was outside for something and when I came in, Rich said that Treigh made Birkley cry, again. I asked what happened and was informed that Birkley has a scratch under her nose because Treigh was trying to pick her nose........go figure!

Mornings
Each morning the kids, especially Treigh, and I love to lay in bed and chat and play. Here are a few pics of a few different mornings.
Treigh will come in and say, "I want my baby, I want to lay wiff her."
Yesterday morning we were laying in his bed and he said, "good morning, how is my "Little Missy?""

Quick Funny
Yesterday Treigh got to go to summer baseball practice with Rich. Obviously he was very anxious...so while standing at the front door waiting on Rich, he yells into the kitchen to Rich and says, "Come on dad, let's roll." Too funny!
He has a couple new buds...as some of his favs graduated...the underclassman are now getting some "Treigh limelight." He of course had a blast!

Milestones
We hit a couple of milestones yesterday at our house...
Birkley...
Birkley now laughs...YEAH! I was actually cleaning spit-up off of her shirt yesterday and I guess I hit her belly just right because she giggled. I did it again and she laughed again. This continued for a little while, but of course as soon as I got out the video camera, she decided it wasn't funny anymore. She also laughed at Treigh yesterday evening a couple of times and she laughed at my mom this evening when she was playing with her.
It is just so much fun already to watch her ever-changing world of discoveries.
Treigh...
Ok, I will preface with the fact that this might not be a milestone in most households, but most definitley it is in ours. Treigh can actually swing a bat and hit a live pitch...not off of a tee, but with Rich pitching to him. I of course doubted it and thought it might be a one time "accident" and thought to myself that Rich must have aimed pretty good...however, it wasn't. "PP" as Treigh calls bp, is an ongoing thing right now and the hits are actually occurring more and more frequent. I also have to add that he can't catch a ball in air yet, but can track and field a grounder....very cute.

Crazy Boy
"Free" Toys
Lovin' tummy time!
I ordered Birkley something from Babies-R-Us online the other day and the shipping was going to be outrageous...$24. However, if I spent $30 more dollars my shipping was going to be free. HELLO...I picked out a couple of toys that made the total $30ish and ended up spening 7 more dollars than I would have paying the shipping and got toys to show for it...the "Vanity" toy with the mirror is very cute and she really liked looking in the mirrow...and reaching for the lipstick. I also got her a "Rainforest" roll-n-rattle ball. Treigh really likes spinning it like crazy on the table.
