Birkley's 1st Birthday!

Forever...

Ok, I know, its been forever sonce I have posted...just a reflection of how busy we have been. But, I don't feel as bad as most of my friends have not posted as much lately either!
Anyway, the kids are getting bigger and bigger every day and we are approaching their 1st and 3rd birthdays in a couple of weeks. Treigh is sooooo excited to get presents again. We got Birkley a table and chairs, toddler kitchen and a little jeep ride on. We went ahead an gave her the talbe and chairs and kitchen last night because I wanted them out of my car and I was not going to take them to her party. Treigh had just as much fun as she did. He told me that he wanted his birthday to go ahead and start too! They absolutley love each other to no end...they play so well together and I can not believe that they have been in my life now for three whole years...I can not imagine my life without them.

Okay, she really doesn't pick her nose, but when she has the least little snot, this is what she does. She even blows her nose...thank goodness both of my kids have never liked snot or nasty noses!
Birkley is getting so big as well. She is changing and growing each and every day.

Here her motherly instincts are already kicking in. She LOVES playing with her babies and especially hugging and feeding them. (Oh, and she does where clothes)

Treigh

This is my "almost three" old...as he now tells people when they ask him how old he is. He is getting to be soooo big. The latest hurdle we have cleared is that we are now completely POTTY TRAINED. I put underwear on him three weeks ago Friday and he honestly has not had a single accident. I truly believe in the saying, "when they are ready, they will do it."
Treigh is asking for an outdoor goal and Jordan stuff for his birthday. I think we have it covered ;)

Snow Day!

Well, I am not sure when I will get to work this week. Yesterday i stayed home because the kids were still recooping from the flu and today we are out for a snow day and predicted to have more snow tonight???
Anyway, here is Treigh playing the Fisher Price version of the sports Wii. The kids have been in heaven the last two day with my undivided attention all day...I love it!

We have been really busy lately, but I am sure everyone has been. Last weekend Treigh spent the night in Linton with his cousins and thoroughly enjoyed himself. he had a blast with Cory, Kyle, and Katy.

A day in the life of Treigh consists of waking up, having some chocolate milk and sometimes a poptart, heading to Marianne's, playing all day with the kids, coming home in the evening, changing into his colts outfit, watching Monster Jam, and shooting buckets....repeat, repeat, repeat!

He is a ball of energy that has a mind of his own...for SURE! I am a believer that the terrible twos have evolved into the threes as well as he is quite the handful some days...but I love him to pieces and would not change him.

Birkley is slowing becoming her own person as well. She now fights Treigh for toys and has developed a fake cry when she gets mad or ticked off...lol! She has 5, almost 6 teeth right now and eats just about anything you put in front of her. She loves using a fork, but has a hard time getting food on it, but when I put food on it for her, she just grins and eats away, always handing me the fork for more. She waves and says bye-bye when someone leaves and now blows kisses too...complete with the sound! She points at everything she wants and makes her girlie ugh sound. We have been working on body parts and she knows where her eyes and nose right now. She also loves helping me with laundry, putting things in the dryer for me...I find an occasional wet sock or washcloth that she has escaped with every now and then!

Other than that, she is growing and changing every day...turning into a little lady!

Every evening when we get home Treigh has to change into his Colts uniform...complete with a pair of my Christmas socks...lol!

Bath time

So it has been a bit since I last posted. Things have been crazy around here. We have ball games every weekend, something just about every night of the week and then there is just the normal hustle bustle. Anyway, we are all doing well. Just a touch of the bug and some runny noses, but nothing MAJOR. The kids are growing and changing every day. Now that Birkley is walking she and Treigh seem to play so much better together. It is like he thinks she is the greatest now that she walks. Their favorite is to play chase...and play in the ball pit that GaGa got Birks for Christmas...yes, it made its way to my house...I lost the battle.

Birkley is now ten months old. She is...walking, talking like crazy, mimicking, loving baths, eating everything, has three teeth, and loving to play with anything Treigh is. Also...wearing 12 months, making her way to 18 months and is in a size 4 shoe.

Treigh is now "almost 3." We finally got him away from saying 2 1/2. He loves everything about Western Boone and the Webo boys. He loves going to practice with Rich and especially loves attention from the kids. He is learning letters now and knows several along with their sounds. He has slowly evolved into a little boy who thinks he is about 16...nonetheless, he's not my baby anymore. Also...wearing 4T, making his way to 5T/4s and is in a size 10 shoe.
