What's Goin' On

I feel really bad because I haven't posted for quite some time. Treigh has been really sick again. To make a LONG story short, he ended up with the croup and now has breathing treatments four time a day. He is finally sounding better, but it has been a long two weeks. Anyway, I wanted to update his "new" things...enjoy!

~Just like I said..."DaDa" came first. At first I just thought he was mumbling and figured out how to say his d's. However, the other evening Rich came in from work and Treigh and I were playing. Rich sat down for a few seconds then got up and left the room. Treigh got so upset and starting saying dada dada dada dada, until Rich came back into the room, then smiled. I still wasn't convinced so I had Rich leave the room again, and of course, he said it again. I am just sticking to the idea that m's are harder to say than d's. Still it is soooo cute!
~Does "army" crawl count? He is scooting everywhere...just not on his knees yet. I'm sure we are not far from it though.
~Eating #2 baby food...one jar at lunch and two for dinner...and still rice cereal for breakfast!

Bath TIme

I cry now when mommy takes me out.

Now that Treigh can sit up completey solo now, he really enjoys bath time. He loves splashing and thinks it is absolutely hilarious when he get me wet and I make a big deal about it. I think I like it just as much as he does.

Rich and I have a bad habit of eating late...in the living room in front of the TV. Treigh has usually already eaten by the time we sit down to have dinner. I have been letting him have a biter biscuit each evening while we eat because he knows what we are doing and throws a fit because we won't let him have any of our dinner. Here is the progression...biscuit, mess, drink!

Shootin' the Rock!

Starting early...the best form comes from practicing on your back!!!

Obviously you all know that we are very sports oriented. Some of you will probably think that I am totally crazy and won't believe me at all, however, the other night Rich was playing with Treigh on the floor with the basketball practicing "shootin' the rock." Rich would show Treigh how to shoot the ball, and when Rich would give it to Treigh, he would actually attempt to "shoot" or mock Rich. Needless to say, we were both very excited. Now, don't get me wrong, I obviously know that Treigh does nto realize that he is shooting a basketball, however it made us really happy! Along with this, Treigh is trying to copy quite a few things we do. It is all just so fun...

Crazy!!!

Here I am jumping on grandma's lap...jumping is my all-time favorite thing to do...except maybe chew on stuff!

Mommy thought she was going to catch me chewing on daddy's foot...she thought wrong!

News

New happenings...

Treigh is really liking food now. His favorites right now are squash and applesauce...what a combination. He's not liking the greens so much though...beans and peas. He is rolling around all over our house now, and even has got up on all fours a couple of times...even rocked a little once. So, maybe crawling isn't far off. Heaven please help us...he will be into everything! He is still doing well at daycare. Every morning he is so excited to see Hudson...Tina and Cindy say they just lay and jabber and coo at each other all the time. When you ask Treigh where mama is, he turns to try and find me. This will probably not be any indication of what his first word will be though...dada usually comes first no matter what. We still enjoy taking walks in the evening time and we were really glad when the hot-hot weather broke this past week. I am thinking about getting a seat for my bike...I hope he will enoy this as well as the walks. Call me crazy, but we got our Halloween costume last week...I was afraid that they would sell out...also a bit anxious! Let's just say, Treigh is going to be a "little stinker" for Halloween??? Take a guess!

New Camera

I got a new camera for my birthday because my old one had like a three-four second delay. Every time I would try to catch Treigh smiling or doing something cute he would be done and on to something new by the time the camera flashed. So, here are a few pics where I got a really good smile, and a goofy face too!

Cousin Kyle

This is my cousin Kyle and me. We visited their house last weekend to celebrate mommy's birthday with them. He really likes playing with me...he was even rolling around on the floor like me!

Grandma thought I needed a walker...thank you g-ma! I love this thing!

I have changed my feelings about tummy time. It's not so bad after all. Mommy thinks it is so great because I have gotten up on all fours a couple of times. She says that I am trying to keep up with the boys at daycare!

YUM...YUM! Mommy says that I am really not supposed to have biter bisquits yet, but she gives in because they make me HAPPY...especially at restaurants!
