Hello

I haven't posted in forever because I am having issues with my camera and card. Not much has changed here. Treigh just shows us new things all of the time. Rich is enjoying his new job and I am feeling good.
I hope to post pics soon.

Nose

Here is a picture of Treigh's nose after it started to scab. It looks much worse up close. Each day it just gets darker and darker...again, making it look worse.

Haircut

I was trying to get a good pic of Treigh's new haircut...but you how it goes when you are trying. I don't know if you can see it close enough, but he has some road rash down the center of his face...(along with some pizza sauce). He fell running down the driveway to go see the neighbor's dogs.

Yes, Rich and I are expecting our second child. I am due just two days before Treigh was due...March 25th.

Congrats McMullen's

Our friends Brogan and Monica McMullen welcomed their new bundle of joy into the world on September 11. Leyton Brock weighed 7 lb, 9 oz and was 21 inches long.


Here is Kylen holding (tightly) Treigh and Killian. Ky and Killian are Leyton's cousins.

Brush Em

Treigh loves to bring the stool from out closet into our bathroom and brush his teeth...and play in the water...and sit in the sink (maybe that's why he doesn't have any pants on).

In Trouble

Okay, I am going to reveal some of my parenting beliefs here. We are not typically the "time-out" type. We believe in the old-fashioned way of punishment with a swat on the butt. Well, guess what, Treigh thinks this is funny so we have had to resort to other means. Don't get me wrong, he is actually pretty good, just the typical boy that is a bit of a stinker at times. However, he has this thing with going behind the chairs in the living room and pulling on the light cord and getting in the trash. So, we have to put him in his bed every time he does it. This is typically how I find him when I go to get him. I wish you could hear him because as soon as he sees me he always starts saying "no, no" "no, no." Like I know I was wrong, now get me out of here.

Golf Course

Rich and Treigh go to the "ga core" every evening. I went with them this night to take pics because Rich had just cut down a new "cub" for Treigh...yes, it it s reall driver, just miniature sized for out nex Tiger.



He even thinks he has to have his ball on a tee every time Rich does...

Having Fun!

I haven't posted in a few weeks, but I am happy to confirm that I have completed my master's degree. I will get my "big" pay raise this year. I had been really busy with papers etc., and I can not believe that I start back to school tomorrow. Here are a few pics of Treigh and my grandma and grandpa and one in his new chair.
Grandpa Schelsky, Aunt Lu, and the kids came up yesterday and spent the day. We played football, baseball, and went swimming. Treigh really enjoyed playing with Cory, Kyle, and Katy. We wish them good luck this week as they start school too...especially Kaitlyn, she starts kindergarten.

Daddy and I went to Western Boone this past week to get his classroom ready and check out some baseball stuff. We stopped and ate at McDonald's on the way home and visited Hibbett Sports where daddy couldn't resist buying me this new chair...that I absolutely love. My favorite is to sit back and relax as I chug my joooce!

Vacation to Lake Michigan

We took a last minute vacation to Michigan a week or so ago. Ideally we would have loved to lay on the beaches of Florida, but with Rich's last minute job change, we were just lucky that we got to vacation period...and the beaches of Lake Michigan were actually very nice. Now we can actually plan family vacations from now on. We do suggest Saugatuck Michigan as a nice three-day getaway that is within driving distance...although Rich was very happy to get there because we watched/listened to the the same KidSong movie 25 times. We can't wait until Treigh will use the headphones!
